The Bully Wee Band

Formed in the 1970’s, by the time in 1983 that they split, the Bully Wee Band were known as one of the finest acoustic folk rock bands having played all over Europe and America. A chance encounter in 2004 between 3 of the original members, resulted in a reformation of the band and the following year all 4 members had re-joined and now tour annually in January. With Ian Cutler on violin, Fergus Feely on mandocello and vocals, Colin Reece on guitar and vocals and Jim Yardley on mandolin and vocals, this band are proving that they are still a force to be reckoned with in the folk world. For the gig at Bishops Cleeve Tithe Barn on 18 Jan 2015, they are joined by Phil Beer, one half of the folk “super group” Show of Hands. This promises to be a show not to miss.
